Paradigm Wrestling is proud to partner with Wrestle Like A Girl to host an all-girl empowerment wrestling camp, specifically tailored for girls ages 05-18 who want to learn wrestling and the championship life skills involved with success both inside and outside the sport!
This empowerment camp features:
- Sara McMann - 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist; UFC Fighter
- Jessica Medina – Multiple U.S. and World Team member and Head Coach for Ferrum College Women’s Wrestling Program.
- Axa Molina – 2016 Olympic Trials Qualifier; Assistant coach at gray's Harbr College
This high caliber line up of clinicians will guide athletes to help them develop their skills.
About Wrestle Like A Girl
Wrestle Like a Girl (WLAG) camps emphasizes EMPOWERMENT and INCLUSION of each athlete and educates them on technical skills development AND proper nutrition, hydration and the implementation of mental skills training. WLAG’s curriculum covers everything from basic wresting fundamentals: Stance, position, takedowns, escapes and exposures to more advanced technique and strategy such as: Set-ups, finishes, and drilling. Participants will be able to develop championship skills like goal-setting, with an emphasis through hard work. Each camper will get the ‘Wrestle Like A Girl’ sport journal that will serve as a resource for mental skills development and training and nutrition tracker.
